Educational Requirements
N C Tech is a college prep program. All players are required to be in school as full-time students at N C Tech Preparatory Christian Academy. N C Tech offers college prep courses through The American Academy which is accredited through Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). The Northwest Accreditation Commission accredits distance education, elementary, foreign nation, high, K 12, middle level, post secondary non-degree granting, residential, special purpose, supplementary education, and travel education schools. The Northwest Accreditation Commission is one of the nation's six acknowledged accreditation agencies. All classes offered at NC Tech Preparatory Christian Academy are college prep or high school courses. We also offer Pre-SAT/ACT courses.
Academic Objectives of the Program
• Enhance classroom abilities for college
• Allow for improvement of SAT and ACT test scores
• Improve GPA for Division I and II schools
• Teach self-discipline required for college
classes
• Develop better study habits through mandatory study halls
• All North Carolina Tech players are required to be in school as full-
time students. Players must attend mandatory tutorial and study hall.
Athletic Advantages of the Post-Graduate Program
• Gain exposure to and competition against college
programs
• Improve technique through use of videotaping
• Provide additional year for growth and maturity
